Lois Jackson Bouck
Our precious mother passed away Friday May 9, 2003 after a short illness, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born June 18, 1923 in Salt lake City, UT to Curtis C. and Annie Orvin Jackson. She married Joseph E. "Gene" Bouck Jan 12, 1940. They were married 57 years.
She will be dearly missed by all who knew her, especially her six daughters.
Mom and dad loved to dance and they had many fun parties at their home. Some of the best memories growing up were of the large family gatherings at our home. There were always lots of family and friends to enjoy our mom's good cooking. Many family and friends would seek her out to have their hair cut and permed. She liked to sew and made many dresses for her daughters. She also loved to play cards with her family, and she would usually win.
She is survived by her daughters, Judy (Fred) Hills, Kay (Don) Farnsworth, Kathy (Dennis) Peterson, Renae (Gilbert) Armstrong, Connie (Jim) Bell, Carla (Robert) Davis; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and sister, Billie Wernli. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, infant twin sons, two grandsons, two brothers, and five sisters.
We feel richly blessed to call this lady our mother. We love you, Mom!
We would like to express our thanks to Rocky Mountain Hospice group; Franke Kathryn and Kathy.
Services will be Wed. May 14, 2003, 1 p.m. Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary 4760 S. State St. where friends may call Tues. 6-8 p.m. and Wed. 12-12:45 p.m. prior to services. Interment, Elysian Burial Gardens.
