SSG US ARMY WWII - Cooper Review-May 3, 1984- Lee O. Jackson, age 68, of Commerce, passed away Thursday, April 26, at 6:30AM, in the V. A. Hospital in Bonham. Funeral services were held at 2PM Saturday, April 28, at W.Y.Goff Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Derrah Jackson and M.M. Petty officiating. Internment was made in Shiloh Cemetery. Mr. Jackson was born March 10, 1916, a son of Isaac and Minnie Raleigh Jackson. He married Mozelle Rushing in 1936 in Wichita Falls. A veteran of World War II, he was a member of the Baptist Church. He was retired from retail store business. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mozelle Jackson of Commerce; a sister, Mrs. Louise Bassett of Avery; a brother, James Eugene Jackson of Dallas; a nephew, Derrah Jackson and three nieces, Mrs. Judy Gibson of Jacksonville, Mrs. Imogene Cox of Corsicana and Donna Jackson of Dallas. Pallbearers were John Ray, Tom Ray, Charles Ray, Marion Miller, Ronald Rushing and Jerry Gibbs.
