ayne Denard Jackson, 50, passed away in Baton Rouge, Aug. 19, 2010.

A Waste Management hopper, he was a resident of Baton Rouge and native of New Orleans.

Dwayne leaves to cherish his life with loving memories a devoted lifelong partner, Laura Riley; two children, Kendrick Leonard and Cassandra May; two stepchildren, Angel and Garion Baptiste. Also survived by his father, Otis Louis Jackson Sr.; two brothers, Otis Jackson Jr. and Lorensel Jackson, New Orleans; three sisters, Urseleen Stephens and husband Ruben, Darrow, Sheila E. Jackson, New Orleans, and Maudeva Hansford and husband Adam, Washington, D.C.;

10 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

New Southside Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Visiting at Tulane Memorial Baptist Church, 3601 Parish Ave., New Orleans, religious service, conducted by Pastor Ross Johnson.

Interment in Providence Cemetery, Airline Highway, New Orleans.
