The Service of Remembrance for Mr. Jerry Wayne Jack, age 64, of Inverness, Florida, will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 5, 2010, at the Inverness Chapel of Hooper Funeral Homes with Pastor Donnie Seagle officiating. Interment will follow at Fero Memorial Gardens, Beverly Hills. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Thursday at the Chapel. He was born July 26, 1945, in Charleston, WV, son of William and Pansy (Campbell) Jack. He died March 1, 2010, in Inverness, FL. Jerry was a United States Army veteran serving during the Vietnam War. He was the co-owner and operator of Central Florida Surveying and Mapping. He moved to Inverness, Florida, from Clendenin, WV, in 1985. Jerry was a member of First Baptist Church of Inverness and enjoyed woodworking, bowling, fishing and hunting.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Pamela Sue Jack. Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Bobbie Jack, of Inverness; 3 daughters: Lisa Dawn Powers of Melbourne, Leigh-Ann Pell of Crawfordville, FL, Amanda Jack of Ocala; 2 brothers: William T. Jack and Geary Lee Jack of Clendenin, WV; a sister, Betty Stickland, of Front Royal, VA; and 3 grandchildren: John Pell, William Pell and Sarah Powers.
