Eva Elizabeth Jack was born November 29, 1898 in Grayson County, Texas, daughter of James Franklin Jack (1854-1930) and Frances Elizabeth 'Fannie' Wickard (1869-1942).

The 1900 Federal Census for Justice Precinct 2, Texas (Grayson County) shows Eva E. Jack, age 1, born November 1898 in Texas; living with her father, James Jack, a farm laborer, age 45, born October 1854 in Wisconsin; and her mother, Frances E., age 30, born October 1869 in Indiana. Also living in the household were Eva's siblings: James E. Jack, age 7, born April 1893; Edna M. Jack, age 5, born June 1894; and Fred M. Jack, age 3, born March 1897; all born in Texas.

The 1910 Federal Census for Justice Precinct 2, Texas (Grayson County) shows Eva E. Jack, a farm laborer, age 11, born in Texas; living with her father, James F. Jack, a farm laborer, age 55, born in Wisconsin; and her mother, Fannie, age 40, born in Indiana. Also living in the household were Eva's siblings: James E. Jack, age 17, a farm laborer; Edna M. Jack, age 15, a farm laborer; Freddie M. Jack, age 13, a farm laborer; David Jack, age 8; Ethel Jack, age 5; and Lillie F. Jack, age 2; all born in Texas.

Eva married Lee Crawford Anderson, who was born August 5, 1893 in Denison, Texas (Grayson County), son of Willard T. Anderson (1861-1931) and Cynthia Marlow (1875-1896). Eva and Lee ultimately had four children: Eva Lee Anderson (1921-2006), Charles Ray Anderson (1923-2003), Billy Anderson (1933- ), and Betty Anderson (1933-2008).

The 1920 Federal Census for Denison, Texas (Grayson County) shows Eva Anderson, age 22, born in Texas; and her husband, Lee Anderson, a farmer, age 26, born in Texas.

The 1940 Federal Census for Wichita Falls, Texas (Wichita County) shows Eva E. Anderson, a spinner in a cotton textile mill, age 41, born in Texas; and Lee Crawford Anderson, proprietor of a butcher shop, age 46, born in Texas. Living with them were four children: Eva Lee Anderson, saleswoman in a retail bakery shop, age 18; Charles Ray Anderson, sales in a retail grocery store, age 16; Billy Anderson, age 6; and Betty Anderson, age 6; all born in Texas.

The marriage between Eva and Lee ultimately ended in divorce. Lee died August 11, 1968 in Corpus Christi, Texas (Nueces County) and was buried there in the Seaside Memorial Park.

Eva died October 30, 1972 in Denton, Texas (Denton County) and was buried in Oakwood Cemetery in Denison, Texas (Grayson County).
