Oceana Neel Janutolo, 89, formerly from the Brushfork-Falls Mills Rd., died Oct. 16, 2005 at the Maples in Bluefield.
Born in Nemours, she was a daughter of the late David H. Neel and Martha Jane Lawson Neel.
She was a member of the Brushfork First Church of God.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Raymond Janutolo; one daughter, Barbara Jones; five brothers, Julian, Dave, Watson, Daniel and Charlie Neel; and one sister, Martha Hendrick.
Survivors: son, Carl E. Janutolo of Brushfork-Falls Mills Rd.; daughters, Janie Jones and husband, Richard, of Falls Mills, Louise McVey and husband, Darrell, of Brushfork-Falls Mills Rd.; brother, William (Bill) R. Neel and wife, Frances, of Westerville, OH; grandchildren, Tina McVey, Angela French, Brian Janutolo, Vicky Martin, Carla Janutolo, Susan Davidson, Mike Jones, Jon Jones and Andrea Fuller; and 12 great grandchildren.
The funeral was conducted Oct. 18 at 11 a.m. at the Dudley Memorial Chapel in Bluefield, VA, with Pastor Jim Russ officiating.
Burial followed in the Grandview Memory Gardens.
