Jewel Ivey Chavers, a homemaker, died Wednesday at a family home. She was 80.
Chavers was a native and former longtime resident of Brewton, and a resident of Jeffersonton, Va.
Survivors include one son, Jerome Chavers of Jeffersonton; one brother, Melvin Ivey of Brewton; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in Brewton. The graveside service will follow at 1 p.m. in Pensacola Memorial Gardens.
