MRS. CARRIE ALBRITTON; THE ARCADIAN;
Mrs. Carrie Albritton, a pioneer resident of this section of the state, died on Sunday at her home near Lily, where the family home had been for nearly fifty years. She had been enjoying fairly good health but was taken suddenly ill a short time before her death, and the end came as a great shock to her wide circle of relatives and friends. Mrs. Albritton was a widow, her husband, the late Berry Albritton, having passed on about twelve years ago. She was 75 years of age.
Funeral Services were held at the home on Tuesday, conducted by Rev. Steve McClelland of Plant City, and burial was in the cemetery at Lily.
Deceased was a member of the Baptist Church of Lily and had been a faithful worker in all of the church and community activities. She is survived by eight children, as follows; M. E. Albritton of Lily, Mrs. Edna Roberts of Ona, Alfred Albritton of Wauchula, Elmer Albritton of Arcadia; Mrs. Jessie Whidden of Wauchula, Mrs. Mamie Davis of Lily, Ed Albritton of Arcadia and Delos Albritton of Pine Level.
