Earl Isley, 71, died in his Lafayette home at 5 AM Tuesday, April 23 1953, after being in failing health several years. Born near Anderson, he lived in Lafayette 46 years, after coming here from Monticello. He was a cement contractor and retired in 1940. He was married in 1918, in Lafayette, to Carmel Lear.
Surviving with his widow are two sons, Ralph and Richard Isley; a daughter, Mrs. Charles Healy, all of Lafayette; and a brother, Robert Isley of Oak Park, IL.
