Thurman Ishcomer, 53, Broken Bow, passed away at Sparks Hospital in Fort Smith, Ark., on Sunday, Nov. 3, 2002. He was born Dec. 9, 1948, the son of Clayton and Louise Hicks Ishcomer.
He was a maintenance worker and was a lifetime resident of McCurtain County.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clayton Ishcomer; one brother, Nathanial Ishcomer; one niece, Delissa Renee Harjo, in 2001; and one nephew, Keith Harjo.
Thurman leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Louise Ishcomer, Broken Bow; four sons, Bryan Ishcomer, Little Rock, Ark., Jamie and Brett Ishcomer, both of Broken Bow, and Brent Ishcomer, of Alaska; one daughter, Lorie Ishcomer Taylor, Broken Bow; four brothers, Gregory Ishcomer and wife Jacque, Idabel, Robert Rex Ishcomer and wife Maria, Tecumseh, Earl Ishcomer, Champagne, Ill., and Clarence Ishcomer and wife Barbara, Scottsdale, Ariz.; one sister, Patsy Pilant and husband Michael, Broken Bow; five grandchildren, Cameron, Eryn, Drake, Ashton and Eric; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Canfield Cemetery, Idabel. The Rev. Randy Jacob will officiate.
