AnnaBelle Appleman, 88, formerly of Williamsburg, died Mon., Feb. 1 at The Village at Morrisons Cove, Martinsburg. She was born in Porter twp., Huntingdon County, to Fred & Ethel (Kennedy) Isenberg. The family moved to Williamsburg, where she lived the rest of her life. She married Donovan H. Appleman Feb. 13, 1943, in Fort Riley, Kansas. He died Dec. 25, 2009. Survived by sons: Don K. & wife, Deborah, Williamsburg and Jeff L. & wife, Lois, Duncansville; daughter, Linda G. Kagarise & husband, Robert, Covington, Va.; 5 grandchildren: Tim Kagarise, Randy Kagarise, Christian Appleman, Kelley (Appleman) Myers and Michael Appleman; and 6 gr. grandchildren. Predeceased by brothers: Kenneth, Francis & Lewis; and sister, Mary Jane. AnnaBelle was a 1939 graduate of Williamsburg High School, where she was a proud member of the Lady Pirates basketball team. She was a former employee of U.S. Envelope, Williamsburg; Annie's Restaurant, Williamsburg; The Village Dairy, State College; and Yeager's Carpets, Williamsburg. AnnaBelle was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Williamsburg, and a past member of the former Trinity United Church of Christ, Williamsburg. She loved flowers and gardening and was an avid reader. Bolger Funeral Home, Williamsburg. Private interment, Williamsburg Lutheran Cemetery.
