Ronny Isenberg - JONESBOROUGH

Ronny Isenberg, 49, 1309 Fordtown Rd., Jonesborough, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 24, 2010, at his residence following a lengthy illness.

Ronny was a lifelong resident of Washington and Sullivan Counties.

He was a son of Sue Hawkins Isenberg, Boones Creek Community, and the late Charles "Sollie" Isenberg.

Ronny was employed with AES Seal and was a former long time employee of Rental Uniform Service.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and enjoyed horseback riding.

Ronny was a 1979 graduate of Daniel Boone High School and a member of Boones Creek Christian Church.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Sarah Isenberg; and a brother, Tim Isenberg.

In addition to his mother, Ronny is survived by his fiancÚ, Mary Ellen Leonard, of the home; a son, Matthew Isenberg, Kingsport; a daughter, Haley Isenberg, Kingsport; two sisters, Marcia Byrd and fiancÚ, Scot Hamilton, Gray, Becky Price and husband, Tommy, Jonesborough; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.

The funeral service will be conducted Friday, November 26, 2010, at 7:00 P.M. from the East Chapel of the Appalachian Funeral Home with Brother Kevin Rose officiating.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 5:00-7:00 P.M. Friday in the East Parlor of the funeral home.

The graveside committal service will be held Saturday at 10:00 A.M. in Monte Vista Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Jeff Lyons, Steve Lyons, Bobby Lyons, Ryan Byrd, Derrick Byrd, Chuck Price, Ben Leonard and Jamie Wheeler. Those planning to attend are requested to meet at the funeral home by 9:30 A.M. Saturday to proceed to the cemetery.
