Mildred 'Millie' Bullemer, 86, of Gibbon died Wednesday, February 15, 2006 at the Sibley Medical Center in Arlington. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday, February 20, 2006 at the Augustana Lutheran Church in Gibbon with Pastor David Sperstad Officiating. Burial will be in the Augustana Lutheran Cemetery in Gibbon. Visitation will be Monday at the church from noon until the time of service. Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in Gibbon is in charge of the arrangements.

Millie is survived by her husband, Roy, of Gibbon; daughters and sons-in-law, Kitty and Gary Reiners of Cambridge and Susan and Gary Eddy of White Bear Lake; a son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Susan Bullemer of New London; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; a sister, Mary Leraas of Howard Lake; a sister-in-law, Lorraine Isenberg of Mankato; and by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sisters-in-law, Willard Isenberg and his first and second wives, Edna and Mary, Herbert Isenberg and his wife, Phyllis, Vernon Isenberg, another brother in infancy, and by a brother-in-law, Carl Lerass.

Mildred Lillian Isenberg, the daughter of Albin and Alice (Swenson) Isenberg was born on November 24, 1919 in Eagle Bend, MN. She graduated from the Winthrop High School class of 1937. On February 27, 1949 Millie was united in marriage to Roy Bullemer in Bernadotte. After her marriage she worked with her husband in the family owned grocery business and locker plant both in Gibbon. She later worked at Wolter's Dry Goods & Grocery in Gibbon and then at Hand's, Inc. in Winthrop for many years. Millie was a member of the Augustana Lutheran Church in Gibbon, and was a past Sunday School Superintendent for twenty five years. She was a past member of the church choir and a current member of the WELCA. Millie loved to quilt, sew, garden and various other crafts. In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials to the donors choice.
