Cameron Sentinel. -- At Rockdale on Tuesday last [October 1st or September 24th?], Mrs. Isaacs, wife of Leonard Isaacs, feeling indisposed, retired to her chamber and for the purpose of relieving her headache saturated a handkerchief with chloroform and spread it over her face and when an effort was made to awaken her, she was dead. One of the saddest events which it has ever been the misfortune to befall any community, occurred here last Tuesday. While apparently in the best of health, only a little fatigued with the exertions of the day, Mrs. Leonard Isaacs laid down for a few moments repose, with neither premonition or warning to any one, her pure gentle spirit took its flight to the better world leaving a once bright and happy home enveloped in a depth of gloom, startling in its suddenness, overwhelming in its intensity. Young, beautiful and attractive, deeply enshrined in the hearts of many admiring friends, the mother of two babes in feature fine and form perfect, her loss will be long felt.
