Georgia Myrl Berggren, the daughter of Mason and Etta (Gressley) Isaac, was born at Aurora, Nebraska, on August 2, 1912, and died at her home in Aurora, Nebraska, on December 23, 1996, at the age of 84 years, 4 months, and 21 days.

She grew up at Aurora, where she received her education, and graduated with the class of 1930. She then attended Cotner College for 2 summers, and taught in the Hamilton County Rural Schools for 6 years.

On June 17, 1939, she was united in marriage to Theodore H. Berggren in Lexington, Nebraska. After their marriage they farmed the home place until they retired in 1975, and in 1988, they moved into their present home in Aurora.

Georgia was a member of the Aurora First Christian Church, was active in CWF, and taught Sunday School for 15 years. She also belonged to the Hamilton Manor Auxiliary. She and her husband enjoyed traveling.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Those who remain to cherish her memory are her husband, Ted of Aurora; 2 sons, Jim and his wife Deb, of Grand Island, and Jerry and his wife Kathy, of Lincoln, 4 grandchildren, and one great granddaughter.
