Mrs. Irwin enjoyed gardening, reading, cooking and collecting knick-knacks, especially pigs. She was the widow of Joseph T. Irwin Jr. Survivors: Daughters, Stacy Poulathas of Middletown, Kathy Eperson of Hurt, Va.; son, Peter Irwin of Wilmington, Del.; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
