They were married in 1950 after Dr. Alm graduated from dental school and they returned to Eau Claire where they were to spend the rest of their lives and raised their family. Jane was Don's office assistant for some time when he started his practice. Don was proud that he maintained his dental practice for nearly 50 years.
Her grandchildren are Andrew and Ted Sielski, Thomas, William and Wyatt Alm, Alexander and Alison Klemme, and Isabella, Nicolas and Dean Sanchez.
Jane was active with a number of charitable organizations including PEO Sisterhood, Service League, PTA and Eau Claire Chapel Heights United Methodist Church. These, of course, were in addition to the other organizations the young mother devoted her time to; Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts.
The Alms roots were deep in the Eau Claire community for over 60 years and Jane's departure will be felt by her many friends and colleagues whose friendships she had cherished over the years.
