Funeral service for Oliver Ingram, Jr., 14, was held at the Colored Methodist Church in Albany. Burial was in the Albany Cemetery.
Oliver died Monday night of injuries received when he was hit by a car on the Cisco Eastland highway five miles west of Eastland. He was apparently asleep on the side of the highway when the car hit him. The body was carried to an Eastland funeral home and was brought to Albany.
Oliver was born October 29, 1937, in Albany. He was the son of Rev. O.C. and Emma Ingram of Breckenridge. Rev. Ingram is pastor of Williamson Chappel church there.
Oliver was a member of the church and had finished junior high school in Breckenridge in 1951.
