Carol J. Beal, age 65, of Williamsville, passed away on Monday September 24, 2012 at her residence.
She is survived by a son, Johnny (wife Peggy) Beal of Sherman; two daughters, Lisa (husband Mark) Watson of Sherman, Lori (husband Tracy) Plumlee of Williamsville; nine grandchildren, Dustin, Kelsie, Katelyn & Michelle Watson of Sherman, Danielle, Rikki & Mackenzie Cleeton of Williamsville, Jonica & Kristian Sharp of Sherman; two great-grandsons; one sister, Cathy (Bob) Trader; and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ray on August 15, 2008, father, John, and brother Johnny.
Carol was born August 19, 1947 in Springfield, the daughter of John and Dorothy Nation Ingram.
Carol married Ray Beal on June 6, 1965 at the Sherman United Methodist Church.
She worked for the State of Illinois, Department of Secretary of State for over 34 years. After retiring from the State she later worked for the Williamsville Water Department and Williams Township.
Carol enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and especially loved her grandchildren.
Burial will be held at Walnut Hill Cemetery near Williamsville
