Mrs. Olivia Ide, widow of William H. Ide, who was a brother of the late George P. Ide of Troy and the late Daniel B. Ide of Corinth, died Tuesday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Letty Pike of Corinth, with whom she had resided since the death of her husband eighteen years ago. Mrs. Ide was for more than half a century a member of the Methodist Church of Corinth. She was born in Corinth in September 1827.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Letty Pike and Mrs. John Hurd, both of Corinth; one son, Samuel Ide of Glens Falls, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held at 2 o’clock to-morrow afternoon from the home of Mrs. Pike. Her pastor, Rev. Lewis Sauerbrel, will officiate. Interment will be in the Rural Cemetery.
