Susan Ann Iacobelli, 54, of Las Vegas, passed away Thursday, April 22, 2010. She was born Aug. 8, 1955, and was a 30-year resident of Nevada.

Susan was employed in the gaming industry over the past three decades. Most recently, she was a blackjack dealer at Green Valley Ranch.

Susan was proudly involved in animal rescue through much of her life. Her pride and joy was the animals she shared her life with. Sue rescued and loved her dog, Bitz, two cats and five rabbits.

The people closest to Susan describe her as kind, warm-hearted, loving, giving, generous, goofy, crazy, zaney and a gifted soul. Susan always had the ability to make those around her feel better about themselves through her warm, kind acts.

Those of us who have been fortunate enough to know and love Susan Iacobelli, are truly blessed and will never forget the impact she has made on the world.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ann and Vincent Iacobelli. Susan is survived by her soulmate, Dale Salisbury; siblings, Donna Botti, Butch Iacobelli, James Iacobelli, Wendy Iacobelli and John Botti; niece, Angela Botti; and nephew, Alex Fixaco.

Funeral services will be 3-4 p.m. Sunday, April 25, at La Paloma Funeral Services, 5450 Stephanie St., Las Vegas, NV 89122. In lieu of flowers, please feel free to donate to the ASPCA and St. Jude on behalf of Susan A. Iacobelli.
