Martha Kay Hyde Awad, 53, of Ardmore, Oklahoma, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, October 27, 2005. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, October 30, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m., Monday, October 31, at Rosemound Cemetery, with David Irby officiating.
Martha was born in Waco, Texas, to James L. and Mollie Bell Parrott Hyde. Martha loved taking care of her home, yard, and she loved the Lord. Her kids and husband were most important to her.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mollie.
She is survived by her husband, Emad Awad, of Ardmore, Okla.; daughter, Bobbi Kae Mitchell and husband, Curtis, of Midlothian; son, Chad Williams and wife, Sara, of Waco; grandchildren: Jordan Grant Mitchell, William O'Neal Mitchell, Emily Izabel Williams, and Liana Awad; father, C.K. Wood; sisters: Molly Hammond, Ginger Sharp, Mary Irby, Becky Cox, and Shirley Wood; brothers: Jimmy Hyde, Wayne Hyde, Jerry Hyde and Roy Wood; and numerous nieces and nephews.
