Essie was a customs broker for Scarbrough International. Her passion in life was saving and caring for animals. She created An Angels Destiny website for those who had experienced the loss of a pet. Essie was involved in several animal rescue organizations such as the ARL and Farm Sanctuary of New York, just to name a few.
Essie is survived by her loving husband, Jack Arthur of Prole; sister, Deborah Abrahams of Cumming; brother, Stephen Hutson of El Cajon, California; her very special friend, Steve; her "kids": dog Rosie, cats Star, Sylvia, Cujo, and Winston; and many other extended relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ron Hutson; brother-in-law, Mike Abrahams; and her "kids": Piper, Okie, Smoke, Roscoe, Jack, Boogie, and Lillie Bear.
