Eloise A. Ambrose, 86, Bloomington, died at 2:20 p.m. Monday (April 2, 2012) at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington.
She was born Oct. 11, 1925 in Arrowsmith to Albert Francis and Elizabeth Koopman Huth. She married Edward "Vincent" Ambrose on Nov. 11, 1949 in Gibson City. He died April 12, 2010. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Paul G. Huth.
She is survived by one daughter, Deb (David) Decker, Bloomington; five sons, Charles Ambrose, Bloomington; David (Judi) Ambrose and Paul (Robin) Ambrose, both of Normal; Mark (Eva) Ambrose, Canton, Michigan and Steven (Valerie) Ambrose, Bloomington; 14 grandchildren; eight grandchildren; two sisters, Alberta Langley, Granite City and Mary Ann (Keith) Olson, Galesburg and one brother, Albert (Idy) Huth, Des Moines, Washington.
