Shirley Jean GAMBLE, 53, of 905 Wabash Ave., died at 11:30 p.m. Saturday at her residence.
She was born Aug. 15, 1935 in Rochester to Henley and Myrtle HIGGINS HUTCHINSON. Following the death of her mother, she was reared by her grandmother, Mrs. Emma HIGGINS. She was married Aug. 15, 1952 in Rochester to Robert WILKINSON, who died in 1983. Later in Peru, she married Robert GAMBLE. She was a employee of Marshall Electric Co., Rochester, and a member of the New Life Church, Rochester.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Brenda OLINGER, Rochester; three sons, Michael GAMBLE, at home, and Ronald and Gary WILKINSON, both of Rochester; six grandchildren, Amy and Amber OLINGER; Steven, Lisa, Jennifer and Daniel WILKINSON, Rochester; two brothers, Roy MYERS, Stuart, Fla., and Richard MYERS, Fort Pierce, Fla., and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Foster & Good Funeral Home, Rochester, with the Rev. Brian TAMMANY officiating. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Rochester. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. through services.
