William Shelby Hutcherson, 93, died on February 10, 2015, at his residence. He was born on August 21, 1921 in Jackson, Tennessee, the son of William and Lucy (Jeffries) Hutcherson. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army under Gen. George Patton in North Africa and Sicily. He was a 70 year member of IBEW and was the City of Jackson’s first electrical inspector. He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, a daughter and son-in-law, two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral: 1:30 p.m. February 12, 2015 at Arrington Funeral Home, Jackson, Tennessee. Burial with military honors.
