Ann Lytton Hutchens, 89, of Waynesboro, passed away on Monday, November 15th 2014 at Augusta Health in Fishersville.

She was born in Miami, FL on October 30th 1925, daughter of the late Paul Fink and Beaulah Eddis (Smith) Lytton.

She married George H. “Pat” Hutchens of Waynesboro in 1953, who retired from DuPont in 1968. For 12 years, Pat and Ann owned and operated Sharp Edge Service, Inc.

They were both members of Tinkling Springs Presbyterian Church since 1953.

Ann had many hobbies. She enjoyed working in her yard and gardening, fishing, hunting, and was an amateur radio operator. Ann was proud of being an airplane pilot. She was involved in civic government and enjoyed helping others.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband.

She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and other family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 7 P.M. until 8 P.M. on Thursday, December 18th 2014 at McDow Funeral Home, 1701 West Main Street, Waynesboro.

A date and time for a graveside service in Cleveland, VA will be announced.

McDow Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
