Born in Canadian, Texas on Aug 13, 1923, the daughter of A.P. and Oddest (Dickson) Hurley and had resided in Ashburnham, Mass. in 1945.
A 1941 graduate of Kemp High School in Kemp, TX. and the Bish Matis Business School in Longview, TX. She was the owner of Bickford Insurance Agency, Inc. in Ashburnham , retiring in 1986.
Member of Ashburnham Community Church.
She leaves a son, Bill Bickford and his wife, Diane of Peyton, Colorado; a grandson, Daniel M. Bickford and his wife Debbie of Rutland, MA; two great-grandsons, a brother Doyle Hurley of Lee's Summit, MO.; a sister, Patricia Lee of Grandview, TX.; a nephew, Vernard Grimes III of McKinney,TX.; two nieces, Marilyn Hebert of New Orleans and Paula Jones of Malibu, CA; a brother-in-law, John Bickford and his wife Jane of Poinciana, FL. and three cousins, Allene Martin of Altus, OK., Jean Wilson of San Angelo, TX. and Elsie Rankin of Ft. Worth, TX.
