Margaret Caldwell
Funeral for Margaret H. Caldwell, a long-time Portland resident who died of a brain hemorrhage Monday in a local hospital, will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday in Bateman Funeral Chapel, Gresham. She was 59.
Born in Toppenish, Wash., Mrs. Caldwell moved to Portland when she was 14 years old. She lived at 625 SE 196th Ave.
Besides her husband, Kyle A., she is survived by four sons, Charles Snyder and Edward Snyder of Sandy, William Snyder of Boring and Terry Caldwell of Portland; two daughters, Diane Hildebrand of Boring and Karen Van Ness of Gresham; a brother, Maj. William Hunter of Oakland, Calif.; two sisters, Jean Dryden and Joyce Moore, both of Portland; and 18 grandchildren.
Vault interment will be in Lincoln Memorial Park. The family suggests that remembrances be contributions to the American Cancer Society.
