Service for Orlena Crabtree, 89, longtime resident of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, April 21, 2012 in the NorthPointe First Baptist Church of Joshua. The Reverend Garry Jordan and Reverend David Hampton will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M., prior to the service.

Mrs. Crabtree passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2012 in Bedford. She was born April 12, 1923 in Gainesville, Texas to James O. and Elizabeth Crawford Hunter. She married Charles Robert Crabtree on May 8, 1943 in Marietta, Oklahoma.

Mrs. Crabtree was a retired secretary with 20 years service for Stewart Construction Co. She was a longtime member of Buel Baptist Church where she also served 25 years as the church secretary.

Survivors include her two sisters, Pauline Thornton of Patterson, Georgia and Johnnie Stone of Wichita Falls; two brothers, Thomas Hunter of Godley and Hershell Hunter and wife Jean of Burleson; and 16 first generation nieces and nephews. She was precded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Robert Crabtree on October 14, 1996; brother, James Hunter and sister, Grace Lockaby.
