Elza Mae Chisum, 74, of Gore died Monday, Nov. 16, 2009, in Gore. She was born March 10, 1935, in Vinita, Okla. She was a cook at Fin and Feather Resort, a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Gore and the widow of Alfred Chisum. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Gore with burial at Stevenson Cemetery in Gum Springs, Okla., under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. She is survived by four daughters, Christine Cato and Betty Barnes, both of Gore, Earlene Swearengin of Vian and Brenda Stewart of McCook, Neb.; two sisters, Erma Capps of Gore and Phyllis Stevenson of Muskogee, Okla.; eight brothers, Bill Hunt of Brookshire, Texas, Joe and Danny Hunt, both of Gore, Arthur and Glenn Hunt, both of Muskogee, Okla., Walter and Jerry Hunt of Braggs, Okla., and Benny Hunt of Wagoner, Okla.; 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Bucky Barnes, Shane and Marshall Swearengin, Anthony Cato, Joseph and George Anthony, Dakotah Rich and Ryan McGee.
