Mrs Amye Evangeline Goings 48, died Tuesday at 1523 Fawcett Avenue. She was a native of Smith County, Kansas, and had been in Tacoma (Washington) a year, coming from Omaha, Nebraska where she was a cook for many years. She was a member of the Christian Church in Franklin County, Nebraska. She leaves sons, Clinton A. of Louisville, Neb., Merton E. of Axtell, Neb. and William E. of Tacoma, WA. Daughters, Mrs. Orpha M. Park of Tacoma, Mrs. Velma Jeffrey of Omaha, and Mrs. Lillian Sweem of Tacoma. Brothers, Virgil M. and Noel Hunt of California. A sister, Mrs. Ora Bartlett of Holdridge, Neb. and 14 grandchildren. Funeral announcement will be made by Buckley-King.
Amy died in Tacoma Washington, but was brought back to be buried at Greenwood Cemetery in Nebraska.
Amy had eight children, two of which died in childhood.
