Jacque Grell, 56, rural Beatrice, died Wednesday, January 17, 2007 in an automobile accident. She was born May 4, 1950 at Fairbury, NE. She graduated from Fairbury High School in 1968 where she played the trumpet in the Fairbury band. She married Richard Grell on October 26, 1968 in Fairbury, NE. They owned and operated the Bottle Creek Dairy until 1995. She then worked with troubled youth. She was currently working at Riesen Dairy as an evening milker and also as a part time receptionist at KWBE. She was an active member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. She was a on the parish council where she was a past president and also a past member of the Altar Society. She was active in 4H with her children also a co-leader in the Homestead Riders 4H Club and helped with the Gage County Fair Board where her husband was a member. She loved to attend her children's sport and music activities. She enjoyed shooting off fireworks on her favorite holiday, the 4th of July. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Survivors: husband Dick of rural Beatrice; daughters: Sara Olson and husband Jerod of Seward, NE and Denise Lytle and husband Gary of Beatrice, NE; sons: Clark and Lance Grell of Lincoln, NE; grandson Cameron Olson of Seward and granddaughter: Hannah Lytle of Beatrice; sisters: Barbara Dewey of Fairbury, NE and Mary Jo Castigliano and husband Richard of Arizona; foster sister: Audrey Hansmier and husband Gerald of Seattle, Washington; brother: Jim Hunt and wife Judy of Hebron, NE; sister in laws: Eleanor Steffens, Janice Garton and Kathryn Bledsaw and husband Harold of Beatrice; Margaret Beyer of Arizona; Marilyn Nelson and husband Richard of Minnesota; nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by: father Glenn Hunt; mother Georgia (Thompson) Zabel; niece Debra Dewey and Brother in law Delbert Dewey
Mass of Christian Burial: 10:00.M., Saturday, January 20, 2007 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Beatrice. Father Steven Major, officiating. Rosary: 7PM Friday, January 19th at Harman-Wright Mortuary Chapel. Burial: St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Beatrice. Visitation: Harman-Wright Mortuary, Beatrice Friday 8AM-9PM.and not at the church on Saturday. Memorial established to the family choice.
