Ethel Mae Hunt Amedee
A homemaker and resident of Denham Springs, Ethel died at 5:30 p.m. Friday, July 9, 2010, at her son's home in Zachary. She was 83 and a native of Gloster, Miss. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., Monday, July 12, from 9 a.m. until religious service in the chapel at 10 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Dr. Kevin Hand. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Brenda A. and Rick Ricketson; two sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Karen Eisworth Amedee and Roger and Vickie Swain Amedee; brother, Tommy Hunt; and six grandchildren. Ethel was preceded in death by her husband, Richard "Dick" Amedee; parents, Vernon P. and Bernice Miller Hunt; daughter, Sandra Amedee; granddaughter, Melanie Amedee; and five brothers, Elmer Lee, Carl, Herman, Ray and Maurice Hunt.
