Matilda Hunt Blackburn, 87, of Powder Springs, GA, went to be with the Lord May 13, 2014, leaving behind her husband Harry "Roscoe" Blackburn; daughter Sharon Farley (Roger); grandsons Scott Farley (Julie) and Mark Farley (Kim); and nine great grandchildren, who were her greatest joys.
Preceding her in death was her son Gary Hatfield; her grandson Jeff Farley; her parents Emmett and Sarah Hunt; and brothers Emmett Chester and Gerald Hunt.
Graveside services were at the Kennesaw Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl. Memphis, TN 38105.

Matilda first married Udy Alexander Hatfield in 1943. Udy died in 1956. They had two children: Gary Lynn and Sharon Farley. Her second marriage was to Harry Willard 'Roscoe' Blackburn in 1979.
