Dr. Henry Clay Hunt was a soldier and a distant family member of my Great-Grandfather Henry Clay Hunt of Brown county,Indiana. Both were members of the 69th Indiana Infantry and served together at the Battle of Richmond, Ky. in 1862. Dr. Hunt son Dr.Miles Hunt, Wife Mary L Myers Hunt are buried to the west of the unmarked grave of the Dr.Henry Clay Hunt. The Dr. was both a lawyer and Doctor and was a memeber of the VAR Post 17,O5/4/1916 OBITUARY (Thursday)
Funeral services for Dr. H.C. Hunt, __, ___ physician and pioneer resident of Oklahoma City, who died at his home 1631 W. 31st street, Tuesday night, will be held at the residence Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Dr. H.E. Van Horn, pastor of the First Christian church will officiate. Interment will follow in Fairlawn cemetery. Dr. Hunt is survived by his widow, and four children, Mrs. S.P. Coffey, Mrs. R.W. L___ and Claus Hunt of Oklahoma City and Mrs. A. W___ of Indianapolis, Ind.
