Callie L. Bailey, nee Hunt, 87, a resident of Four Fountains Care Center in Belleville, Ill., passed on Wednesday, April 6, 2011.
Mrs. Bailey leaves to celebrate her homegoing her children, Dora Gilbert and Connie Bailey of Tulsa, Okla., Rubinell Bailey of East St. Louis, Ill., and Donald (Patricia) Bailey of Nashville, Tenn.; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; nine great-great grandchildren; in-laws, Mary F. Hunt and Dorothy (Wilbert) Williams of East St. Louis, Ill., and Vernon Bailey, Jr. of Anchorage, Alaska; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Visitation: Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 11, 2011, at Officer Funeral Home-Metro East Chapel, 2114 Missouri Avenue, East St. Louis, Ill.
Funeral: Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 12, 2011, at Pilgrim Baptist Church, 1121 Dr. M. R. Lemons Blvd, East St. Louis, Ill., with the Rev. Charles Williams officiating. Interment service will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, 2900 Sheridan Road, St. Louis, Mo.
