After half a century's residence in this county, Mrs. G. W. Hunt of Moline passed away at 5:50 yesterday evening at City hospital, Moline, where she underwent an operation Saturday. Deceased, whose maiden name was Emma Anna Mary Wells, was born in Chicago in 1848 and came to Rock Island with her parents in 1859. In 1861 the family moved to Port Byron and seven years later she was married to Mr. Hunt. Their first home was two miles east of Moline, and in 1891 they moved to that city. She was well known throughout the county. Surviving are the husband, six children, three brothers and a sister.
