Myra A. Carmack, 110, a resident of Illini Restorative Care, Silvis, formerly of Milan, died Wednesday, May 2, 2001, at the care center.
Services are 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Wheelan Funeral Home, Rock Island. Burial is in Rock Island Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Moline Gospel Temple or to a favorite charity.
Myra Hunt was born Oct. 6, 1890, in Colchester, Ill., the daughter of Charles and Susan Bright Hunt. She married Myron Lee Carmack, Sr. Nov. 9, 1909, in Colchester. He died Mar. 5, 1975.
She was a member of the Moline Gospel Temple.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Mary Kathryne and Arthur Olson, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; sons and daughters-in-law, Wesley Carmack, Lake Havasu City, Ariz., Myron L. and Mary Ann Carmack, Jr., Rock Island, Robert and Patricia Ann Carmack, Dubuque, Iowa; 18 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 19 great-great-grandchildren; and daughters-in-law, Irma Carmack, East Moline, Mary Carmack, Moline, and Helen Carmack, Rock Island.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Roberta Carmack; sons, Charles Meredith "Nick" Carmack, Delta Franklin "Joe" Carmack, Lynn William "Harry" Carmack; and a granddaughter, Mary Jane Carmack.
