Sharon B. "Geary" Hunt, 47, of the 1000 block Bland St. was called home May 8, 2007. She was born May 22, 1959, to the late Earlene Hunt. Sharon was a member of St. Mark RZUA Church in Norfolk where she served as deaconess aide and on the Usher Board. She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Tenesha and Tiffeny Hunt, both of Norfolk; her father, Henry Hunt of Norfolk; two sisters, Harriet Price (Patrick) of Chesapeake and Mamie Parker (Willie) of Orange Park, Fla.; four brothers, Vaughan Hunt (Jetta) of Portsmouth, Charles Hunt, Henry Hunt II and Rickey Hunt, all of Norfolk; and a host of other relatives and friends. A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in St. Mark RZUA, 1513 Colonial Ave. Dr. Alvin B. Thomas will officiate. Interment will be at Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Family and friends will assemble at 1044 Bland St. one hour prior to service for procession to the church. The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Monday in Metropolitan Funeral Service, Granby St. Chapel. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.metropolitanfuneralservice.com.
