Charles Le was born October 18, 1936 in Lincoln, NE to Kenneth G. and Donna D. Hunt and died on Friday June 27, 2003 in Oklahoma City, at the age 66. In the early years of Charles Hunt's life he was a member of Sigma Nu at Oklahoma University. While at the University he received a BA in Business Administration and was a member of the Dean's list. After his years spent at Oklahoma University Charles remained an avid OU fan. Much of his free time was dedicated to mastering the game of golf. Amongst other things he enjoyed reading, classical music and was an accomplished pianist. Charles career path included the Air National Guard followed, by employment with Travelers Insurance. Charles spent the last 20 years of his working career with General Accident Insurance and retired in Overland Park, Kansas. Much beloved son, brother, and uncle is survived by his mother Donna D. Hunt. Sisters and spouses include Kaylon and Robert Hand, Barbara Davis, Lindy Resnick, Gerri and Ken Newman. Nieces and Nephews include Cerese and Robert Park, Ken and Tina Collie, Tony Davis, K.J. and Rhonda Henriksen, Lelani and Robert Lorrah, Brent Resnick, Mick Newman, Mindy and Todd Childs. Many great nieces and nephews and lifelong friends Bob Cortright, Bill McMath, Mickey McVay, Don Zachritz, Sally Freel Brunett, Jane Barrow Alexander, and his former wife Vicky Hunt. Charles was preceded in death by his father. The family wishes to thank Frontier Hospice for their special care and especially Randy Rogers. Funeral service will be 10:00 am Tuesday July 1, 2003 at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery Chapel. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, Frontier Hospice or charity of your choice.
