Marie Adele Hunsaker Berrett passed away peacefully on March 28, 2018 in North Ogden, Utah.

She was born on January 22, 1921 in Malad City, Idaho, one of six children born to T. Earl Hunsaker and Laura M. Higginson. The family moved to Logan, Utah and she graduated from high school in 1939.

She married Elwood D. Berrett on July 8, 1941 in the Logan LDS Temple. Elwood passed away on September 3, 2000.

She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints holding various positions in Relief Society and Young Womens. She loved to travel, had many hobbies including sewing, and was an excellent knitter.

Marie is survived by her son, David (Dana); daughter, Kathleen (Carl); daughter-in-law, Nanette. She was blessed with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elwood; son, Roger; and son, Robert.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the North Ogden 5th Ward Chapel, 626 East 2600 North. Friends may visit with family on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 North Washington Blvd. and Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.

Interment next to her husband at the Ben Lomond Cemetery, 526 East 2850 North, North Ogden.
