She received a B.B.A. in Marketing, from the University of Texas in Austin in 1992. She received a Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from the Texas Chiropractic College in 2001. She practiced in Austin with her father. She then opened her own practice in Blanco, Texas, in 2011.
She is survived by: Her husband Bret Barnett, and her 14 year old son, Mitchell, her mother Carol Richardson, and her father Dr. Mike Huneycutt.
