She married Jerome Bonaparte ADAMS on 12 Apr 1866 in Fort Wayne, IN.

The death of Mrs. Jerome B. Adams occurred at the family home in the town of Buena Vista Sunday morning at 7 o'clock following an illness of three weeks during which she suffered with heart trouble and various complications. The deceased was born in England in 1832 but came to this country when she was a young woman and was married to Mr. Adams in 1866. The family is widely and very favorably known in the southern part of the county. The deceased is survived by her husband and four grown children. The latter are Mrs. Ernest Bennett of Buena Vista, Hugo W. Adams of Almond, Byron of Buena Vista, and Clyde of Belmont. The funeral was held from the residence Tuesday afternoon at 1 o'clock, Rev. U.E. Gibson of the Almond Baptist church officiating. The internment was made in the Liberty Corners cemetery.
She was the last surviving member of a family of eight girls, six of whom resided in this county at the time of their deaths.

Mrs. Jerome B. Adams passed away at her home in the town of Buena Vista at seven o'clock last Sunday morning after al illness of about three weeks with heart trouble and other complications. Emma Louise Humphries was born at Berton-on-the-Water, England, Sept. 27, 1837, and was therefore in the 71st year of her age. She came to this country when 17 years of age and was married to Jerome B. Adams Apr. 12, 1866, at Ft. Wayne, Ind. They came to Wisconsin soon after and have lived continuously ever since in the town of Buena Vista, where Mrs. Adams was most highly esteemed for her many womanly virtues and most estimable qualities of head and heart. She is survived by her aged husband and four children, the latter being Mrs. Ernest Bennett of Buena Vista, Hugo Adams of Almond, Byron Adams of Buena Vista and Clyde Adams of Belmont. Another son, Victor, passed away several years ago. She also leaves 15 grandchildren and was the last surviving member of a family of eight girls, six of whom resided in this county at the time of their deaths.
The funeral was held at the homestead Tuesday afternoon at one o'clock, Rev. Gibson, of Almond, officiating, with interment in Buena Vista cemetery.
