Mrs. Lois Mae Humerickhouse Biesen, age 84, of Newark, DE passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2009.
Mrs. Biesen was born in Griffith, IN on February 16, 1925, daughter of the late William Humerickhouse and Eunice Ernst Humerickhouse.
A homemaker, she was also a trained baker who shared her creations with family and friends. Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 59 years, Wilbur A. "Buck" Biesen in 2005; and her brother, Robert Humerickhouse.
She is survived by her devoted daughters: Diane Dunmon and partner Larry Apostal, Nancy Macolley and husband Bruce, and Cynthia Pearce and husband Larry; her sister, Doris Grimmer; her grandchildren: Bruce Macolley III and wife Melissa, Allyson Macolley and Alexander Pearce; and her great grandsons: Bruce IV and Jake.
A funeral service will be held Monday, December 14, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at White Funeral Home, 921 W. 45th Ave., Griffith, IN where visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville.
