Gatha Agnes Humbard, 100, of Cleveland, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 24, 2020, at the residence.
She was the daughter of the late Joe Hawkins and Lula Ledford. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Willard C. Humbard; her brothers: Summer, Dewey, Tarzan, Clifford, Willie and Gilbert Hawkins; her sisters: Ruby Overby and Vona Ray; and her stepsisters: Mae Williams, Della Gamble and Ruth Lauderdale.
She was an 80-year member of Goodwill Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, Larry Humbard Sr. and his wife, Avis; her daughter, Brenda Knight and her husband, Roger; her grandchildren: Larry Humbard Jr. and his wife, Gina, Steve Knight and his wife, Lisa, and Tony Knight; her great-grandchildren: Cody Knight, Justin Humbard, Laura Humbard and Nikki Wilcox; her great-great-grandchild, Savannah Peels; along with several nieces and nephews.
A Remembrance of Life Service was held at graveside, at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2020, at Moore's Chapel Cemetery, with the Rev. Larry Humbard Jr. and the Rev. Justin Humbard officiating.
Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services, Wildwood Avenue Chapel, was in charge of the arrangements.
