Thelma Pauline Johnston
Thelma Pauline Johnston, 83, died Sunday, March 5, 2005 at Heartland Health Center in St. Joseph, Mo.
She was born March 4, 1922 in Harrison County to Loid and Pearl Huit. She was married to Oran Johnston on July 6, 1939 in Bethany. She graduated from Eagleville High School in 1939.
Thelma attended Eagleville Methodist Church. She lived most of her life in Harrison County.
Survivors include her husband Oran; two sons, Ronald Johnston and wife Evelyn, of Hatfield, and Gary Johnston and wife Rita of Burleson, Texas; one daughter Patti Cook and husband Lonnie of Muscatine, Iowa; eleven grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; two brothers, Gene Huit and Paul Huit, both of Eagleville; one sister, Virginia Hale of Blythedale.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Donald Huit; and one sister, Hazel Ury.
Memorial services were Tuesday, March 8th at the Eagleville Christian Church.
