Funeral of D. HUGON
DAVID HUGON, well known citizen of Cooke County, who died yesterday at his home just north of town, following an extended illness, was buried their afternoon in the Van Slyke cemetery. Rev. NISBET of Gainesville conducted the funeral services at the Wolf Ridge Presbyterian Church with undertaker Carroll in charge. Mr. Hugon was 54 years old, born in Uruguay, South America and lived in Cooke County 30 years. He is survived by his wife and several children, and two brothers, PAUL and HERMAN HUGON who live on Wolf Ridge.

DAVID HUGON was born in Uruguay, South American in 1866. He came to Missouri with his parents when he was eight years old. Within a few years, the family moved to Fannin County, Texas, later to Cooke County where they have lived over 40 years.
He is survived by his wife and daughter HILDA, brothers PAUL and R. A. HUGON, sisters, Mesdames H. M. SMITH, W. S. POWERS of Fort Worth, and V. J. JOSSELET of Haskell, all were present at time of his death. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. C. A. RUSSELL, an old friend, and Rev. NISBET, were held in the Wolf Creek church Thursday afternoon.
