Mrs. Alice Jane Ginn, 95, of Brownsburg, passed away Sunday, August 14, 2016, at Hendricks Regional Health in Danville, Indiana. She was born in Brownsburg, Indiana, on June 11, 1921, a daughter to the late Harry Hughes and Zelma Lee (Thornburgh) Hughes.
Alice was a graduate of Brownsburg High School. On June 5, 1941, she was married to Marion C. Ginn at the Brownsburg Christian Church; he preceded her in death on February 6, 1996. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who took great pride in her family. Alice was a member of the New Brunswick Church of Christ.
Visitation is planned for Wednesday, August 17, 2016, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at the funeral home in Lebanon. Interment will follow services at the K of P Cemetery in Lizton, Indiana.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Alice was preceded in death by brothers, Frank, Meredith and Richard Hughes.
