Mother Of Elwood Woman Dies Tuesday Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at the Baker Brothers funeral home for Gladice Ferguson 71. Interment will be in the Elwood city cemetery. A native of Elwood Mrs. Ferguson died Tuesday at her home on route to Elwood. She was born June 3, 1898 to John and Minnie Perkins Hughes. She married Irvin L. Ferguson who survives. Surviving with the husband are four children, Mrs. Arthur (Elizabeth) Smith of Elwood, Mrs. Mary Maxine Wright of Orestes, John R. Ferguson of Frankfort, Ky., and Richard at home; and two brothers and one sister all of Florida.
